The invitation-only event, held at Windmill Functions Centre at Mt Pleasant, drew more than 220 people along with star performer Graeme Connors.
The event, which was started a quarter of a century ago, has so far raised over
$1.6 million, Flagon and Dragon in-coming chairwoman Kelly Cacciola said.
Most of the money raised goes to children at Mackay hospitals, but also to any other organisations in Mackay that look after sick or disabled children.
The fundraising target set for yesterday’s event was $250,000.
Most people came in costume as more than 220 gathered in Mackay to raise funds at the 25th Flagon and Dragon event on Friday.
