High-vis protest

Daily Mercury - - NEWS -

WORKERS from the New Acland Coal Mine have hung their high-vis shirts out to put pressure on the Labor Government to approve the mine expansion. The expansion of the mine will reportedly save 780 jobs. The shirts were hung-up to demonstrate the families that rely on the income from the mine. Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and opposition leader Tim Nicholls have indicated they will make a decision after a review is released in March.
