De­tails: Cel­e­brated Aussie artists Sara Storer and The Sunny Cow­girls have much in com­mon. Above all it is their love of Aus­tralia and the many char­ac­ters who in­habit it that has been the in­spi­ra­tion for many of the songs they have writ­ten and recorded. Al­though Sara, Ce­leste and So­phie have col­lab­o­rated in the past, they have never toured to­gether, some­thing that will be rec­ti­fied when they hit the road for the Love & Land Tour and which will see them ap­pear­ing in cities and towns across Australian in 2018. Classes start at 1.30pm on June 16 and fin­ish at 3.30pm. Early bird tick­ets are $60, on the door tick­ets are $70. SUN­DAY PAINTERS BY UTA WILD When: Un­til July 1. The Botanic Gar­dens Café and La­goons Gallery are open Wed­nes­day to Fri­day 9am – 3pm and week­ends 8am – 4pm.

Where: Mackay Re­gional Botanic Gar­dens, La­goons Gallery De­tails: Uta has a pas­sion for an­i­mals all shapes and sizes, na­tives and those from other parts of the world. In­spi­ra­tion for her art­work comes from a range of dif­fer­ent ar­eas of life. She strives to share her love of an­i­mals with oth­ers through her art­work. Where: Ku­com The­atre, 1 Snow Wright Court, An­der­grove De­tails: Fans of the Bri­tish sit­com The Vicar of Di­b­ley won’t want to miss Ku­com The­atre’s au­di­tions for their up­com­ing pro­duc­tion of the com­edy clas­sic. Ku­com direc­tor Bron­wyn Gran­nall said they are look­ing for a range of cast mem­bers who could play the parts of Rev­erend Geral­dine Granger, David Hor­ton, Owen Ne­witt, Jim Trott, Frank Pickle, Hugo Hor­ton, Alice Tin­ker – the Verger and Leti­tia Cro­p­leyGran­nall is also look­ing for vol­un­teers to be a part of the pro­duc­tion sup­port team in­clud­ing a pro­ducer, stage man­ager and public­ity of­fi­cer.
