Details: Celebrated Aussie artists Sara Storer and The Sunny Cowgirls have much in common. Above all it is their love of Australia and the many characters who inhabit it that has been the inspiration for many of the songs they have written and recorded. Although Sara, Celeste and Sophie have collaborated in the past, they have never toured together, something that will be rectified when they hit the road for the Love & Land Tour and which will see them appearing in cities and towns across Australian in 2018. Details: In Billy Tempest’s Mackay beginner fire eating workshop you will learn fire safety, palm extinguishes, trail transfers (fleshing) aka setting yourself on fire, tongue transfer, basic fire eat, shoot the moon + shoot the river

Where: Kucom Theatre, 1 Snow Wright Court, Andergrove Details: Fans of the British sitcom The Vicar of Dibley won’t want to miss Kucom Theatre’s auditions for their upcoming production of the comedy classic. Kucom director Bronwyn Grannall said they are looking for a range of cast members who could play the parts of Reverend Geraldine Granger, David Horton, Owen Newitt, Jim Trott, Frank Pickle, Hugo Horton, Alice Tinker – the Verger and Letitia CropleyGrannall is also looking for volunteers to be a part of the production support team including a producer, stage manager and publicity officer.
