Dalby Herald - - NEWS -

IF YOU’RE a local artist, creative business or not-for-profit arts organisation, the Western Downs Regional Council (WDRC) is looking for you.

Individual professional artists, emerging artists and arts workers; cultural workers, incorporated arts and cultural organisations are encouraged to apply for grants through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

Council spokesperson for community and cultural development Councillor Kaye Maguire said WDRC is an avid supporter of developing the arts, cultural, and heritage scene within our local communities.

“Our region has a wonderfully diverse arts... scene, with many artists doing great things,” she said.

In the past, RADF has given a financial helping hand to arts, song writing, stitching and photography and assisted groups in contributing to significant community projects.

Round 1 of the 2016/2017 RADF applications close at 5pm, February 7.
