Melon farm tour juicy facts
IF YOU reckon the time is ripe to enlarge your own “melon” with some interesting melon facts, look no further.
Melon farm tours will be operating on Friday, February 17, from 9–11.30am as part of the biennial Chinchilla Melon Festival.
Visitors will be treated to a bus ride out to Paramagh Farming, where they will visit the packing sheds, melon patches, and picking machines to see how the farm operates.
The guides will all be melon farmers, some of them from other farms, and they’ll run you right through the whole process, from planting to harvest.
