AS PREPARATIONS are put in place for the 2017 Dalby Business Excellence Awards, the first tickets for the event have been snapped up.

The team at Master Hire was the first to buy tickets after they went on sale two weeks ago.

Master Hire manager Matt Prendergast said he was excited about the event and honoured to have purchased the first tickets.

“As one of the proud sponsors of the Business Excellence Awards, we are happy to have purchased the first tickets for this year’s event,” Mr Prendergast said.

“We are really looking forward to the evening.

“It is always a good night.” Mr Prendergast said the night was a great way to recognise the achievements of local businesses.

“It is a prestigious night for our business community and it is a great way to celebrate the achievements of people in town and have a good night,” he said.

The awards night, which will be held at the Dalby Showgrounds on Saturday, October 28, is hoped to be one of the best ceremonies in its history.

Business Excellence Awards committee chairman Tanya Marshall said the night was one not to be missed.

“The BEA night is the premier business event of the year in Dalby,” Mrs Marshall said.

“It is an opportunity to recognise the amazing businesses in Dalby, and the efforts and contributions made to the towns.”

Mrs Marshall said the night also gave the community an opportunity to relax, enjoy themselves as well as network with other industries.

“The night gives business owners an opportunity to mingle with their customers, but it also allows for a social event where owners can network around the region.”

Tickets have been on sale for roughly two weeks, and there is still an opportunity to purchase tickets for the annual event.

Tickets are limited to just 400 for the evening.

Tickets can be bought online at www.dalbytickets., and will cost $95 for BEA members and $110 for non-members.

Businesses have been nominated for the awards and the BEA committee is in the process of assessing the applications.

There will be awards determined by judges, as well has people’s choice awards.

READY FOR A NIGHT OUT: Aaron Furner, Matt Prendergast and Tim Ambrose from Master Hire will attend the Business Excellence Awards.
