Local employees ready to put the sizzle in Bunnings
MORE than 25 Dalby locals are now official team members of the new
$12 million Bunnings Dalby, which is set to open its doors in mid-October.
Store manager Jodie Ianna, who has been a part of the Bunnings team for 12 years, said she was excited to welcome local residents to the store, as well as lending a helping hand in the community.
“Team members have supported a number of community groups already, working with Goodstart Early Learning Centre to extend the centre’s outdoor environment with a sensory garden, as well as helping to revamp the Dalby Diehards Football Club’s 100-year-old grandstand,” Ms Ianna said.
“Bunnings is always looking for opportunities to contribute to local causes and we look forward to supporting Dalby community groups with hands-on projects in the future.”
Several of the new team members are qualified tradespeople with skills in cabinetry, welding and horticulture.
Bunnings Dalby will provide ongoing support to local groups to raise funds for a variety of causes by regularly hosting the famous Bunnings sausage sizzles.
