Lo­cal em­ploy­ees ready to put the siz­zle in Bun­nings

MORE than 25 Dalby lo­cals are now of­fi­cial team mem­bers of the new

$12 mil­lion Bun­nings Dalby, which is set to open its doors in mid-Oc­to­ber.

Store man­ager Jodie Ianna, who has been a part of the Bun­nings team for 12 years, said she was ex­cited to wel­come lo­cal res­i­dents to the store, as well as lend­ing a help­ing hand in the com­mu­nity.

“Team mem­bers have sup­ported a num­ber of com­mu­nity groups al­ready, work­ing with Good­start Early Learn­ing Cen­tre to ex­tend the cen­tre’s out­door en­vi­ron­ment with a sen­sory gar­den, as well as help­ing to re­vamp the Dalby Diehards Foot­ball Club’s 100-year-old grand­stand,” Ms Ianna said.

“Bun­nings is al­ways look­ing for op­por­tu­ni­ties to con­trib­ute to lo­cal causes and we look for­ward to sup­port­ing Dalby com­mu­nity groups with hands-on projects in the fu­ture.”

Sev­eral of the new team mem­bers are qual­i­fied trades­peo­ple with skills in cab­i­netry, weld­ing and hor­ti­cul­ture.

Bun­nings Dalby will pro­vide on­go­ing sup­port to lo­cal groups to raise funds for a va­ri­ety of causes by reg­u­larly host­ing the fa­mous Bun­nings sausage siz­zles.
