Pair fined for public nuisance

Dalby Herald - - NEWS -

A NASTY incident in Charles St, Dalby last month has lead to a pair of women pleading guilty to public nuisance charges.

Gracey May Brimble and Brooke Jan Lou Dalton appeared in Dalby Magistrates Court on Tuesday with one charge each.

The court heard the two women had driven to the Charles St address on September 12, in relation to an ongoing dispute with the occupants of the house.

Police prosecutor Senior Constable Jodie Tahana told the court the pair were trying to lure the persons out of the house for a fight, by standing at their front yard yelling abuse and profanities at them.

Magistrates judge Robbie Davies ordered Dalton to pay a fine of $200, while Brimble was ordered to pay a $400 fine.
