Ladies gather to­mor­row to toast the year that was

BECK Street Kin­der­garten will host a ladies’ lun­cheon to­mor­row at the Dalby Rugby Club to raise money for the some fa­cil­ity up­grades.

Or­gan­iser Su­san Sul­li­van said the day would pro­vide the per­fect plat­form for the women in the com­mu­nity to get to­gether and so­cialise.

“It’s a very nice way to wind down from what has been a busy year for us,” Mrs Sul­li­van said.

“It’s also a good way to in­volve and thank the com­mu­nity for their sup­port.

“It will be a nice and re­laxed at­mos­phere and the ladies will have a great day with each other.

“It’s nice when just the girls have a chance to get to­gether.”

Guest speak­ers on the day will in­clude for­mer Jandowae woman Emily Mar­tin.

Co-or­gan­iser Karlie Bur­ton said the event was not one to be missed.

“The food will be amazing, Gourmet Food Traders and Co al­ways do an amazing job,” she said.

Last-minute tick­ets can be bought to­day at The Shop and Beck Street Kin­der­garten.

Tick­ets are $50 a head and in­clude a gourmet lunch and cock­tail.

The event gets un­der­way at 11am.
