LET’S take a look at some of your comments on our recent Facebook posts:
■ On “Changing the world, one trip at a time”
Brendan Furner: Pity they don't spend the money used to fund such trips locally and help those in need here ... it’s a "feel good" opportunity for those that can afford the trip ... I get sooo annoyed with religious organisations doing things like this.
■ On “Weekend rain has given farmers confidence”
Janet Ash: I think the media in rural areas need to made aware that their coverage of such important things as rainfall is a significant factor to the mental wellbeing of those who rely on the fickle weather for their lively hood.
■ On “Born leader nominated for award”
Felicity Gimson: Wow well done Mitchell. Best of luck with nomination.
■ On “Pride in Dalby is inspiring campaign” Christine Butler: Maybe free tickets as a reward for paying more to shop locally. Or use the money to help food assist stay open.
Carol Conroy: That’s all good to say and, yes, people do try but some of the time you have to go to another town.
