Spring Soiree brings in the big guns for 2018
AFTER the resounding success of last year’s inaugural Spring Soiree, the committee at Beck St Kindergarten has prepared an even better event for 2018.
“Last year was a really great event for us and ticket sales are already well up on what they were in 2017,” committee member Susan Sullivan said.
“It’s our major fundraiser and the money will be put towards some essential maintenance on the Beck St building, such as gutters and painting.
“It’s a fun-filled day out in a relaxed atmosphere.”
Mrs Sullivan said the committee was also ecstatic to have secured a well-known woman to tell her tale at the event.
“This year we have Deb Frecklington as our special guest speaker,” Mrs Sullivan said. “She has a really interesting back story before her rise in the LNP and will talk about what she has done in her life.
“We’ve also got local girl Jess Berwick providing the entertainment.”
The second Spring Soiree is being held on Saturday, October 13 at the Dalby Rugby Union Clubhouse.
The event begins at noon and will run through until the afternoon.
Catering is being provided by Wattleseed Kitchen.
Tickets are $50 per person and are available for purchase from The Shop Dalby or by emailing email@example.com.
