In the modern history of Mack trucks in this country, there are two indisputable facts. One, Mack has undergone a lifesaving cultural revolution since Volvo rescued the famous bulldog from the edge of extinction. And two, the resurgence of the iconic Super-Liner is the greatest success story of all Mack models.

Pride of place, for instance, was given to a heavy-duty spec reflecting the model’s heritage as a road train and heavy haulage specialist. Right behind, however, was a slimline Super-Liner designed for 36-pallet B-double work with regular Mack buyer, Followmont Transport.
This is a dog which has walked the comeback trail better than most.
