Re­cently we moved into a new place and had our sec­ond child. I wanted to show off my new home and daugh­ter to the in-laws. So, two weeks af­ter a cae­sarean I de­cided to cook ‘roast beef with seeded mus­tard & bay leaf glaze’ (Christ­mas Essen­tials, Dec/Jan 17/18, p 64). It was so sim­ple and they were still talk­ing about it weeks later!
