Division Two, vs Tongala (away) - N Austin (s), T Connor, J Wilson, Brian Clancy; L Pattinson (s), D McCalman, J Tonta, G Gordon; Bruce Clancy (s), W Pattinson, P Connor, R Reid.

Division Five, vs Deni Bowling Club (away) - J Kemp (s), D Stanmore, A Stonham, J Rhook; J Sharpe (s), J Middleton, N Weller, C Bradley. Emergency - E Smith. Cars will be leaving from the RSL at 11am. The club will also be holding social bowls at the RSL greens on Saturday from 1pm with names needing to be in by 12.30pm. All levels and skill are welcome to join.

JUNIOR CRICKET

Junior hard ball cricket season will not be able to start tonight due to school grounds still being unsuitable for use.

Also affected is the Under 16s which will also still need at least another week due to ground situation before the season starts.

The T20 Blast cricket will still be held at Hardinge St Oval at 4.45pm on Monday.

Hopefully finer weather will see the competitio­n get underway next Friday night with updates to be in the Pastoral Times.

BADMINTON

Round six of the Deniliquin Badminton Spring Competitio­n saw Shuttle Masters defeat Smashers, 340 to 328 points.

Fiona Milward from the Shuttle Masters was the only three game winner in this match.

In the other match Hotshots defeated Racqueteer­s 377 to 307.

Three game winners were all from Hotshots with Troy Grant, Damien Fullerton, Leonie Francis and Sharon Schultz dominant.

Round seven will be played on Monday with Smashers going up against Hotshots and Badminator­s taking on Shuttle Masters. Racqueteer­s have got the bye.

INDOOR SOCCER

Registrati­ons for an over 15s indoor soccer comp will be held at the Deni Sports Stadium on Thursday night.

The comp will run on Thursdays from November 3 with a starting time of 6.30pm. It will be played for six weeks before having a Christmas break and starting again on January 12 for four more weeks with a two week final series.

For the competitio­n to run smoothly there will need to be six teams of six-a side with expansion an option if needed.

The cost for the whole competitio­n is $30 and as it is a mixed comp - anyone over 15 is welcome.
