Skull, bones found
A crime scene has been established following the discovery of bones in bushland at the Moira State Forest, near Barmah.
A NSW police spokesperson said a skull was found about 5.30 pm Saturday.
‘‘A further search of the area conducted on Sunday revealed further skeletal remains,’’ the spokesperson said.
‘‘A crime scene remains in place and further analysis will be conducted to determine the age and origin of the bones.’’
Police said specialist officers have been completing further searches of the area this week as inquiries continue.
