Deniliquin Pastoral Times - - NEWS - ~ Zoe McMaugh

It will be business as usual at the Deniliquin NSW Murray electorate office until after the by-election, retiring Member for Murray Adrian Piccoli has said.

Mr Piccoli said even after his official last day in Parliament this Friday, Merilyn Hussey and Maree Flagg would still be available at the office in Cressy St.

Whether the office is retained in Deniliquin after the by-election will be up to the new Member for Murray, but Mr Piccoli said it would be unwise to close it.

‘‘Whoever wins the election would be crazy not to keep the Deniliquin office or its staff,’’ Mr Piccoli said.

‘‘The staff will remain there to assist the community until after the by-election.

‘‘Any people who have brought matters to me can be assured they will still be dealt with.

‘‘We are personally writing to anyone with outstanding issues. ‘‘Ultimately, it is business as usual.’’ Mr Piccoli said it would be the same situation at his office in Griffith.

The Deniliquin office is located at 228 Cressy St, Deniliquin. Phone 5881 7034 or email murray@parlia
