New York based duo Boyd Meets Girl entertained an enthusiastic crowd of music lovers in Deniliquin on Saturday night, enjoying the acoustics the Deniliquin Uniting Church’s historic hall provided.

It was the second trip to Deni for the husband and wide duo — American cellist Laura Metcalf with Australian classical guitarist Rupert Boyd — who first visited in May 2016.

Such is their appeal, Melbourne music lovers who missed their sold out city concerts were among the crowd.

‘‘It just shows the calibre of artists we bring to town and what a fantastic opportunity it is for people locally,’’ Sivonne Binks from South West Music said.
