It’s that time of year again when the De­niliquin Clay Tar­get Club hosts its Grand Prix Su­pashoot, start­ing tomorrow.

The an­nual two-day event is re­garded as De­niliquin’s rich­est shoot, with this year’s prize pool val­ued at over $15,000.

Held at the club’s Race­course Rd range, the shoot­ing starts at 9.30am on Satur­day and Sun­day.

Tomorrow’s fix­ture in­cludes a 60-tar­get Cham­pion of Cham­pi­ons shoot and 40-tar­get dou­ble bar­rel events.

The pro­gram on Sun­day fea­tures a 30-tar­get sin­gle bar­rel, 30 tar­get handicap and a 15-pair dou­ble rise.

A high gun tro­phy will be pre­sented, with win­ners for over­all, AA grade, A grade, B grade, C grade, ladies, ju­niors and vet­er­ans in each event.

Prizes on of­fer through­out the week­end will in­clude firearms and cash prizes.

Free camp­ing will be avail­able at the club with a prac­tice day be­ing held to­day at 2pm.
