Lindy’s hotel exhibition

Deniliquin Pastoral Times - - OUT & ABOUT -

Former local Lindy Clark is to have her own art exhibition.

Lindy has accepted an invitation from Pastoral Hotel licensees John and Tracey to display her works in the hotel.

So now, when you have a meal in the hotel’s dining room you will be able to also take in the beauty of her talented works.

Well done also to John and Tracey for giving her the opportunity.

And, if they wish, Mathoura’s abundance of talented artists will enable them to hold exhibitions for the entire year.

Congratulations are extended to former local, Jacqueline Rumsey.

Jacqueline and her partner, Travis Collihole, have welcomed a new baby boy.

Zander Warren Collihole was born in late November and is a baby brother for Xavier (4) and Linken (2).

He is also a grandson for Les Rumsey and Jackie Tubb and Terry and Sonia Collihole of Deniliquin, Linda Collihole and Garry Brame from Ballarat and the late Josephine Rumsey of Mathoura.

Congratulations to the ‘Crump Crew’ on their exciting new venture, The Timbercutter Red Gum Bar and Restaurant at Picnic Point.

The venue, situated at the junction of the Murray and Edward Rivers, has been treating visitors and locals to some fine fare in unique surroundings since its opening before Christmas.

Congratulations to Mathoura Public School’s sporting stars as follows: Premier’s Sporting Challenge, Alvin Cooper; Senior Sporting Effort, Jemika Cooper; Junior Sporting Effort, CJ Wilson and Ryder Douglas; Juvenile Sporting Effort, Matilda Eddy.
