Offering more for its boarders
Caulfield Grammar has always been committed to providing girls and boys from rural and overseas areas with access to its innovative programs.
By experiencing boarding at Caulfield Grammar, students continue to learn beyond the classroom, the value of respect, friendships and independence.
Few schools can offer the broad scope of learning that is on offer at Caulfield Grammar, and this is one of its strengths.
It enables students to choose a pathway to tertiary study that better suits their interests and their abilities.
And for those students from country areas looking for boarding, Caulfield Grammar offers boarding for girls and boys. Sisters and brothers can learn together at the same school, all close to the heart of Melbourne.
In addition to offering scholarships across areas of academic and general excellence, theatre, visual arts, voice, instrumental music and dance to successful girls and boys, Caulfield offers the W.S. Morcom Rural Boarding Scholarship for students entering from Year 9 to Year 11 at its Caulfield Campus in East St Kilda.
As the only Associated Public School in Melbourne to offer co-educational boarding, Caulfield Grammar is the perfect place for brothers and sisters to be able to reside at the same campus.
One of the other unique programs also offered by Caulfield Grammar is the school’s International Program, which recognises that Caulfield’s students are mem- bers of a global community. The school’s belief is that the most effective means of preparing students to meet the international challenge is through the extensive study of another language and culture, including immersion in that culture.
Year 9 students are able to spend five weeks living and learning in its Nanjing Campus in China.
Caulfield Grammar’s VCE students have performed strongly in the past years.
With VCE studies from Year 10, VET and university subjects, extensive careers assistance, Caulfield Grammar students are supported to achieve their best.
Caulfield Grammar School’s boarding students have a history of achieving outstanding VCE results.
The school’s overall results year-to-year provide many examples of how scholarships help students to develop their skills and interests and how exposure to the Caulfield Grammar quality, innovative learning programs sees students exceed their personal bests in academic and social development.
Caulfield Grammar Boarding Scholarship applications for a range of scholarships in 2019 are open, and close between January and June this year.
