Path­way to Med­i­ta­tion is a new ser­vice in De­niliquin pro­vid­ing two med­i­ta­tion ses­sions each week.

Owner and med­i­ta­tion fa­cil­i­ta­tor, Irene Duffy, is pas­sion­ate about mak­ing med­i­ta­tion groups avail­able in town.

Whether you just want to re­duce worry and mind chat­ter, feel calmer and less stressed or ex­pe­ri­ence the broader ben­e­fits of med­i­ta­tion, mind­ful­ness med­i­ta­tion can help.

Last­ing ben­e­fits come from reg­u­lar prac­tice, which is why Path­way to Med­i­ta­tion is of­fer­ing weekly group ses­sions.

‘‘I have been med­i­tat­ing for a long time and ab­so­lutely love it,’’ Mrs Duffy said.

‘‘I thought I would of­fer classes be­cause there is noth­ing in town which of­fers group ses­sions.

‘‘Med­i­ta­tion is be­com­ing more main­stream and the health ben­e­fits is sci­en­tif­i­cally proven.’’

Start­ing tonight, Path­way to Med­i­ta­tion will hold weekly ses­sions at the Coun­try Women’s As­so­ci­a­tion hall in Har­ri­son St (War­ing Gar­dens) on Tues­days. The first ses­sion is at 5.30pm and costs $10. A sec­ond, longer ses­sion is at 6.40pm and is $15.
