On staying on track
Get onto looking after yourself straight away – it will not go away. Small meal portions are a great way of helping your diabetes control, as is exercise. If you don’t like exercise, investigate the newer exercise regimens of small, concentrated bursts, which are proving very beneficial. Cook diabetic-type meals for the whole family – they will benefit from healthy eating and children will learn positive eating habits. Ensure you have the preventative health checks regularly and on time, for example, eye and feet checks.
