I follow a whole food, plant-based diet and use the Dexcom CGM (continuous glucose monitoring system), which has been a life changer. I use this to keep a constant eye on my blood glucose levels and to adjust

food, activity and insulin doses to try to keep myself in my target range. When I’m working at home, I use a treadmill desk on and off, and try to take regular movement breaks to do strength-training exercises. In my office, my room is upstairs, so I walk up and down them many times a day. I also enjoy walking and spending time in my vegetable garden.
