FOrmerly an engineer and IT specialist with BT, Richard is enjoying some quality photography time in his early retirement. His photographic taste is wide-ranging, although he’s keen on sports and street photography, and can often be found in Belgium and France shooting cycle road racing with his D7100 and 70-200mm VR lens.
Richard thought that a Shootout at Kew Gardens would be an interesting opportunity to go outside of his comfort zone – particularly as he doesn’t own a macro lens. www.flickr.com/ richardwestlake
