Welcome to the October 2017 issue of Digital Camera
With the end of the summer in sight, now is the perfect time to get outside and hone your landscape skills.
So with that in mind we got in touch with our old friend and colleague, Chris Rutter, who moved to the Isle of Skye a couple of years ago to live the dream. Chris has always been a fine landscape photographer, but it’s been great to see his work evolve while he’s been living so close to the land. He’s put together a wonderful feature that will help you to add drama and mood to your landscape shots, on page 40.
You may have also noticed a rather snazzy pair of fingerless gloves that came with this issue – ideal for changing settings and keeping your hands warm as the weather starts to get chillier. We hope you love them! Talking of chilly, we also catch up with Frederik Buyckx and his awardwinning series ‘Whiteout’, which looks at communities who live in harsh winter conditions. Enjoy!
