“The divide caught my eye here. I really liked how the waitress having her break is looking a tad melancholy away from the scene, while the noisy office dwellers unwind after a day at work. I suspect that the difference in salaries could well be demonstrated by the divide of the wall.
“It was a bit contrasty and there was a lot of clutter, which meant that I had to dance around a bit to get the shot I wanted before the lady finished her cigarette. I think I probably dithered a bit prior to taking the photograph too, as she almost scowled at me, but she eventually cracked a smile. I really need to work on my confidence in just taking the shot.”
