Meet the Fujifilm X-T100 – the new junior member of the X-T mirrorless range
POSITIONED just behind the X-T20, the latest Fujifilm camera also offers a 24.2MP APS-C sensor, although not an X-Trans CMOS III type sensor as used in its pricier stablemates. Available in Black, Dark Silver and Champagne Gold, the X-T100 features a built-in 2.36-million dot OLED electronic viewfinder. The majority of the back of the camera is taken up by a threeinch LCD touch panel; this has a pleasing three-way tilt mechanism that enables it to be tilted up and down, as well as all the way around so that it faces the same direction as the lens – so yes, it’s selfie-ready…
The camera uses Fujifilm’s X mount and packs an array of the company’s popular Film Simulation modes (11 are included) and Advanced Filters (a total of 17). The X-T100 is able to record 4K video, although only to a maximum of 15p, in contrast with its Full HD 50/60p capabilities.
The camera weighs in at 448g, is said to offer a battery life of 430 shots, and comes armed with Bluetooth LE wireless technology, which is compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices running the Fujifilm Camera Remote app. www.fujifilm.com; £619/$699
