LEONARDO SILVA

-

He’s big already in Brazil!

A TEENAGE boy’s dreams are shattered by fate, but it’s the struggle of life that makes it worth living. That may sound like the synopsis of a great movie about triumphing over adversity but it accurately describes the life of Brazilian model Leonardo Silva.

The aspiring model’s ambitions were put on hold when, as a teenager, he was diagnosed with cancer. His story is told on his YouTube channel and, he says, he hopes it will inspire others in their struggle to overcome pain and disease.

Since his full recovery, Leo, now 26, has been unstoppable. He’s become a successful entrepreneur with his seafood business, has graduated from his studies in Physics, Mathematics and Physical Education, and is finishing a Civil Engineering degree. He currently holds the title of Mister Santa Catarina, and has become the face of Gregg Homme for 2017.

Deservedly, we think he makes the Next Big Thing issue of DNA.
