Lyrically influenced by the Manchester bombing at her concert last year (which killed 23 fans), Sweetener comes complete with a horde of guests including Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott and Nicki Minaj. That it also sounds like Ariana put her heart and soul into this is the big leap forward we’d all hoped for.
