PER­FECT IF: YOU’RE A CHO­CO­LATE AD­DICT SERVES 12

YOU’LL NEED: BASE

1 cup of al­monds

¼ cup shred­ded co­conut

1 ta­ble­spoon of ca­cao pow­der

1⁄3 cup of dried dates (soaked overnight)

FILL­ING

1 cup raw cashews (soaked overnight) 2 cups shred­ded co­conut

¼ cup co­conut wa­ter

1 tea­spoon of vanilla ex­tract

TOP LAYER

1⁄3 cup of melted co­conut oil ¼ cup of ca­cao pow­der ¼ cup of pure maple syrup

TO MAKE:

1 BASE Blend al­monds in a food pro­ces­sor for a few sec­onds. Add re­main­ing in­gre­di­ents and blend. Press into a lined tray and put in the freezer. 2 FILL­ING Blend in­gre­di­ents in a food pro­ces­sor un­til re­ally smooth. Spread on top of the base. Put back into the freezer. 3 TOP LAYER Place co­conut oil in a saucepan over low heat. Add ca­cao and syrup and mix well. Pour on top of the fill­ing and leave in the freezer overnight.
