hello

donna hay - - Advertising Feature -

Whether you love to bake or spend hours over a slow-cooked dish, this issue is here to brighten your winter days.

We’ve had such a lovely warm autumn here in Australia, but now I’m finding myself craving those fresh, chillier winter nights that are perfect for cosying up indoors. Add good company and great food, and I’m a happy girl! Filling your winter days with warmth and comfort is easy when you have stunning recipes to choose from, and here we’ve curated an inspiring seasonal collection for you. Choose from slow-cooked dishes ( p94) you can spend contented hours over, to simple soups for wholesome weeknight dinners and, of course, beautiful baked treats. My favourite sweets in these pages are the clever and oh-so pretty cakes and desserts inspired by earl grey tea ( p146). But,

I do love an impossible pie (so named, we think, because they are so impossibly easy!). Our new variations on this intriguing dessert are so special and perfect to whip up for dinner parties or when you need a last-minute sweet fix ( p134).

It was while putting these pages together we announced that this will be the second-last issue of donna hay magazine in its current format. It has been an incredible journey with you all over the past 17 years, but now it’s time to be brave and try something new. Our last issue as we know it will be our 100th edition, and we hope you will join us to celebrate! We have so many exciting things planned – I can’t wait to share them with all with youyo.

WIN lunch with me! We’ve partnered with Haigh’s Chocolates for an exciting competition in time for our upcoming 100th issue – for details go to donnahay.com

You can connect with me any time, any place.
