We’ve had such a lovely warm au­tumn here in Aus­tralia, but now I’m find­ing my­self crav­ing those fresh, chill­ier win­ter nights that are per­fect for cosying up in­doors. Add good com­pany and great food, and I’m a happy girl! Fill­ing your win­ter days with warmth and com­fort is easy when you have stun­ning recipes to choose from, and here we’ve cu­rated an in­spir­ing sea­sonal col­lec­tion for you. Choose from slow-cooked dishes ( p94) you can spend con­tented hours over, to sim­ple soups for whole­some week­night din­ners and, of course, beau­ti­ful baked treats. My favourite sweets in these pages are the clever and oh-so pretty cakes and desserts in­spired by earl grey tea ( p146). But,

I do love an im­pos­si­ble pie (so named, we think, be­cause they are so im­pos­si­bly easy!). Our new vari­a­tions on this in­trigu­ing dessert are so spe­cial and per­fect to whip up for din­ner par­ties or when you need a last-minute sweet fix ( p134).

It was while putting these pages to­gether we an­nounced that this will be the sec­ond-last is­sue of donna hay mag­a­zine in its cur­rent for­mat. It has been an in­cred­i­ble jour­ney with you all over the past 17 years, but now it’s time to be brave and try some­thing new. Our last is­sue as we know it will be our 100th edi­tion, and we hope you will join us to cel­e­brate! We have so many ex­cit­ing things planned – I can’t wait to share them with all with youyo.
