Garden Club Spring and Rose Flower Show
OUR Garden Club Spring and Rose Flower Show was held at Brennan’s Mitre 10 Store on the weekend of the 14 & 15 of October. The unkind weather to both farmers and Gardeners alike made for a much smaller show. With the support and help from club members and Mitre 10 management and staff we had a great display. The Raffle donated by Brennan’s was won by Rita Dickerson. Our most successful exhibitor was Bev and Phill Good, the Champion Rose: Carol Tink, Champion cut Flower: Pushpa Jeysaleen, Champion Pot Plant: Joan Campbell, and Champion Decorative: Kay Bennett. Congratulations to all who entered whether you won or not you help make the show a success. Your parents can be ashamed of you.
to Langley’s Coaches for the recent Tassie Highlights tour. Excellent in every way. Cheerful, friendly, helpful. Terrific in every way. More like a big family outing.
to Fay Gravau for all your charity work you’ve done at Bracken House over the years.

up to Buninyong Butchery for the great customer service and fabulous meat.
Thumbs down to Dubbo Regional Council – you would think you could do a hot wash and clean up the footpath at the Buninyong Shopping Centre.
to Coles Supermarket who I don’t blame for not wanting their grocery trollies left around the streets of Dubbo but would it be possible to at least show their customers the courtesy to push their laden trollies across to the other side of the main street without locking up. Think about it.
to Sonya Hogan who organised a wonderful holiday for us. It was more than we expected and was excellent service. If you are thinking of travelling give Sonya a call. Thanks again, from the group.
to the young girl at the Optus Shop at Orana Mall who helped me with my bill on Friday, Oct 27. I had rang Optus three times on my phone which they still didn’t respond to my problem. So I decided to go to the shop and let them ring for me. The young girl at the shop and rang them and she got my bill reduced down to what I could afford to pay. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you are an angel.

to the wonderful midwives at the Dubbo Private hospital. The love and support you showed us will be forever remembered. It breaks my heart that future mothers will not have access to your knowledge and care but I am so grateful we could be blessed by you all for our three children. Thank you!
to the Fast lane coffee Bultje street especially Dylan who helped clean my car when I dropped coffee in the car. You guys went over and above to help. Thank you.
to Dave, Evie and Isaac from Monster Signs and Greg from Lout Performance who helped get my car started this week when I was stranded on Fitzroy Street. There are way, way more helpers in the world than bad guys, and you are all living proof. Thank you!
