Piano players hit the street
PERFORMERS wowed the crowd at the opening event for the annual DREAM Festival, Pianos on the Pavement at the Cyril Flood Rotunda on Thursday, October 12. Pianos on the Pavement is a celebration of the piano and its now lost role as a social musical instrument found in everyone’s home and its ability to bring people together for a good time. It also shows that the piano is a wonderful instrument that can be played and enjoyed by people of all ages and experience levels. At the event, performers of all ages and experiences get to contribute. In 2017, that included the Suzuki Strings and Harmony Singers who also joined in the fun.
