IT was a night of jazz at the Macquarie Conservatorium on Friday, March 23, with a stellar performance from renowned vocalist Emma Pask and distinguished pianist Matt Mcmahon. Emma has performed all over the world for VIP audiences including the late Diana Princess of Wales, and Princess Mary of Denmark, as well as appearing on The Voice. Of equally high note, Matt has won national jazz awards and is acclaimed by audiences and critics as both a pianist and a composer. Both artists appear at major music festivals, both in Australia and overseas, so it was exciting for the region when they added Dubbo to their repertoire.
