Mayoral talk and presentation at Talbragar CWA meeting

A recent meeting of the Talbragar CWA welcomed the Mayor of the Dubbo Regional Council, Cr Ben Shields, together with our Group Representative Wendy Morris.

A most interesting address was given by the Mayor on what is happening within the Regional Council, including many of the changes in Wellington.

Cr Shields also talked about his vision for the future and then took questions from members. He reminded those at the meeting that the public has been encouraged to have their say in Council’s 2040 future planning.

Wendy Morris gave a very interesting address on what happened at the CWA State Conference, and encouraged other to attend future conferences.

Another highlight of our meeting was having Wendy Morris and Cr Shields present a 50-year service membership pin to Mrs Lorna Mckay.
