WELLING­TON NEWS Youth Ser­vices Fo­rum for re­gion’s high school stu­dents

A Youth Ser­vices Fo­rum met at Welling­ton Civic Cen­tre on Oc­to­ber 24 to en­able high school stu­dents from Del­roy, Dubbo South, Dubbo Col­lege Se­nior Cam­pus, Welling­ton High School and St Marys Welling­ton to be aware of the ser­vices avail­able to them.

Ser­vices rep­re­sented at the fo­rum to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion to the stu­dents were TAFE, Le­gal Aid, Welling­ton Abo­rig­i­nal Com­mu­nity Health Ser­vice, Welling­ton In­for­ma­tion Neigh­bour­hood Cen­tre, Unit­ing, Abo­rig­i­nal Em­ploy­ment Strat­egy, Welling­ton PCYC, Com­mon­wealth Bank, De­part­ment of Hu­man Ser­vices, Dubbo Headspace, Break Thru, Dubbo Re­gional Abo­rig­i­nal Health Ser­vice, Joblink Plus, Dubbo Re­gional Coun­cil, Mis­sion Aus­tralia, and Mac­quarie Credit Union.

Lunch and fun ac­tiv­i­ties were or­gan­ised for the stu­dents along with cul­tural dance and art. A hand bush­sign­ing poster was made for each school by the stu­dents.
