Trimble has announced that it is entering into collaboration with Australian construction drone data specialist Propeller Aero to improve compatibility between the two firms’ data systems.

Sydney-based Propeller is a leading supplier of unmanned aircraft system (UAS), or dronebased 3D data collection and surveying solutions. In particular, it offers a Cloudbased data visualisation program called Platform and physical ground control points called AeroPoints.

Trimble is looking to integrate Platform and AeroPoints into its Trimble Connected Site system, giving its users greater options when it comes to collecting and interpreting 3D survey data.
