High quality and low price define the 13-tonne Agrison TX936S wheel loader
Agrison’s TX936S wheel loader is a real game-changer for those looking for affordable power.
Melbourne’s Agrison is a second-generation family-owned business that has made a name for itself as a major supplier of value-for-money construction and agricultural machinery.
The company operates under the motto ‘best quality and value without compromise’ and sources high-quality machinery through its partnership with a Chinese company which is fully compliant with the International Standard ISO9001:2008.
Agrison says that this business model, sourcing no-nonsense, high-quality machinery from overseas and selling direct to the customer for a quarter of the price of the big names, has seen the group become one of Australia’s most recognised machinery brands, both here and also abroad.
After starting out small, the Agrison business continued to grow and in 2012 the company relocated to its current 2ha premises in Campbellfield in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. The company says the new HQ has become a ‘one-stop-shop’ and is one of the largest closed-off retail showrooms in Australia, with a fully stocked spare parts division and extensive on-site after-sales service.
Selling direct to customers cuts out a lot of middle-men, and helps the group keep prices down. Nowhere is this exemplified more than in Agrison’s TX936S wheel loader, which retails brand new for just $61,990.
“This is a big, heavy-duty wheel loader,” Agrison’s Ray Yayintas says. “It measures 7.9m in length with the bucket down, 3.25m high and has 20.5-25 tyres.
“The TX936S is built for a variety of applications including construction, mining and land-clearing,” he adds.
The 13-tonne operating weight TX936S is no slouch. The big loader is powered by a 150hp 6-cylinder Cummins 6BT5.9-C150 diesel engine capable of pushing out up to 580Nm of torque, which kicks in at around 1500rpm.
Easy-to-use single-lever hydraulic controls deliver 2,750psi working pressure to the attachment, and as a result the TX936S has a lift capacity of 4 tonnes. The TX936S also has a fully powered ‘third function valve’ which increases the machine’s versatility.
The loader features an XCMG PowerShift transmission with four-speed forward (max travel speed 35km/h) and two-speed reverse gears (max speed 26km/h).
Inside the modern, spacious cab is a fully adjustable suspension seat. The ROPS cabin is heated and air-conditioned and has a pillar-less wrap-around windscreen for increased visibility. The TX936S has fully hydraulic steering using an XT Eaton steering orbitrol. The TX936S can achieve a steering angle of around 38 degrees.
A 2.4-cubic metre general bucket comes standard with TX936S, along with a 4-in-1 bucket and pallet forks. Implements can be swapped out quickly and safely thanks to the TX936S’s hydraulic quick-hitch. Agrison has a number of other attachments available for the loaders including sieve buckets, hydraulic log grapples and grain buckets.
Agrison specialises in exports to countries such as New Zealand, Fiji and Thailand.
