As be­fits a game star­ring a tod­dler, Among The Sleep’s world is a con­fus­ing place. Book cov­ers are il­lus­trated with in­dis­tinct blurs of colour and sym­bols, while ob­jects are so large, con­tained within such dark spa­ces, that it’s hard to get a sense of the lie of the land. The scale is more pro­nounced via Ocu­lus Rift, but we of­ten strug­gled to trig­ger the hand icon that lets you to in­ter­act with ob­jects, and gained a deeper un­der­stand­ing of why tod­dlers throw up so of­ten.
