Publisher/ developer Compulsion Games Format PC Origin Canada Release TBA

Compulsion’s follow-up to PS4 launch title Contrast is built around another excellent concept. Set in a procedurally generated, dystopian take on 1960s England, WeHappyFew casts the player as a rare lucid mind in a city whose eerily china-masked populace is being controlled by a drug in the water supply. Stealth is paramount, but of the social kind – you’re better off blending in with the crowd than sticking to the shadows – and you’ll craft weapons for when things inevitably go south. Creepy but colourful and dripping with atmosphere, WeHappyFew is surely too intriguing to stay a PC exclusive for long.
