Rainbow Six: Siege

PC, PS4, Xbox One

Publisher Ubisoft Developer In-house ( Montreal) Format PC, PS4, Xbox One Origin Canada Release 2015

Ubisoft continues its mission to prove itself the leakiest company in videogames, a premature look at the closed alpha for its team-based shooter escaping onto YouTube and showing terrorists and special forces seeking to out-strategise each other in the cabins of a grounded plane. At a time when so many developers – and Ubisoft’s studios especially – obsess over making game worlds ever bigger, a little focus goes a long way, and there’s enormous scope for tactical variation in these tight spaces. Especially since you can remake them with wellplaced explosives or a sledgehammer, creating new doorways and clearing away cover.
