Kochalka is perhaps best known for his Monkey Vs Robot and Super Fuckers comics, both of which dress dark, irreverent subject matter in his simplistic, outwardly naïve drawing style. He has also created series more suited for children in Johnny Boo and Dragon Puncher, and until the end of 2012 he contributed a strip a day to diary-comic American Elf, an astonishing endeavour that spanned more than a decade. His recent videogame collaboration, Glorkian Warrior: The Trials Of Glork, is out now on Android, iOS and PC, while his new comicbook project, Johnny Boo Meets Dragon Puncher, is due for release in June.
