There’s in­no­va­tive tech­nol­ogy to go with the laughs

McNeil and Pam­philon also host a spinoff stage show called Wi-Fi Wars in which en­tire au­di­ences com­pete against each other, and the tech be­hind it will fea­ture in Go 8-Bit. Pam­philon ex­plains: “Ev­ery­thing took a bit of a turn when some­one we knew for a while – a guy called Rob Sedge­beer, whose other half was ac­tu­ally one of the few fans of our dou­ble act…” “The fan, you might say,” McNeil in­ter­jects. “Hello, Carol!” Pam­philon: “Rob came to us with this idea for some tech­nol­ogy that could beam the games into your phone, so that you can play them on the big screen with us. That lifted the show to a dif­fer­ent level.”

Go 8-Bit’s stage ver­sion (pic­tured) will re­turn in the fu­ture, but the TV show is the fo­cus for the time be­ing, with Dave sched­ul­ing it to air in the au­tumn
