The nau­tilus shells that you col­lect ap­pear in ghostly form within the vaulted ceil­ing of a spec­tral tem­ple you’ll visit reg­u­larly through­out the game. Each chap­ter is book­ended by the dis­cov­ery of a life­less un­der­wa­ter cave in which re­sides an an­cient tower, long since lost to the salty wa­ters. Swim­ming into the por­tal that sits on top of these pieces of for­got­ten ar­chi­tec­ture trans­ports you to the al­ter­na­tive re­al­ity of the tem­ple where, af­ter com­plet­ing an ac­tion that we won’t re­veal here in or­der to avoid spoil­ing things, you’ll re­store life to once-murky caves.
