With waits cut to a cou­ple of sec­onds, there’s more in­cen­tive to ex­per­i­ment off the tee, while a new pre-putt shock­wave al­lows you to clear obstructive de­bris – or, bet­ter still, to top­ple that fi­nal bonus item when your ball rolls ag­o­nis­ingly short. We might just get that full set of Plat­inum medals, af­ter all.
