Char­lie Brooker’s af­fec­tion for games dates back to the 8bit era, but he be­gan work­ing with them closely dur­ing his time on PC Zone mag­a­zine, where he re­viewed count­less ti­tles and also pro­duced the Cy­bert­wats comic strip. He went on to cre­ate the cel­e­brated satir­i­cal web­site TVGoHome, as well as writ­ing a TV col­umn for The Guardian. He’s also writ­ten for TV ex­ten­sively, con­tribut­ing to or cre­at­ing shows in­clud­ing The 11 O’Clock Show, Brass Eye, Nathan Bar­ley, Dead Set and, of course, Black Mir­ror. Brooker has also put games on TV with Gameswipe and How Videogames Changed The World.
