Mon­u­ment Val­ley 2’ s UI is a beau­ti­fully il­lus­tra­tive puz­zle box all on its own, chirrup­ing and chim­ing as you spin it around to browse lev­els. You’re even given power over its de­sign. At the end of each chap­ter is a chance to cre­ate your own ‘sa­cred ge­om­e­try’ draw­ing to en­cir­cle that level in the menu. Slide your fin­ger around a cen­tral point and Ro con­jures per­fect math­e­mat­i­cal snowflake shapes ac­cord­ing to your move­ments. It’s as oddly sooth­ing to mess about with as the Spiro­graph toys that so clearly in­spired it.
