Ray El­lis from First Na­tional has done the num­bers and says that hope­ful UK dis­rup­tor Pur­ple­bricks has failed to cap­ture the imag­i­na­tion of con­sumers in Aus­tralia, sell­ing only 150 prop­er­ties since Au­gust 2016 when it was launched, equat­ing to a 0.1 per cent mar­ket share.

Mean­while, Pur­ple­bricks con­tinue their ex­pan­sion here, open­ing of­fices in Syd­ney and the Cen­tral Coast, with plans also for Perth and Ade­laide.
