MAISON BALZAC

-

If your olfactory system hasn’t been enlightened by a Maison Balzac candle yet, you’ve got some catching up to do. Australian-based, French-born founder Elise Pioch Balzac is slowly but surely infiltrating our homes, first with her beautiful

bougies, then with her finely hewn drinking glasses, and now with an extended range of lifestyle products, such as this Camargue wool throw made in its namesake region in the south of France in collaboration with the historic manufacturer Brun De Vian-tiran. There’s also a set of small glasses that fit perfectly with the new, sure-to-sell-out carafes. “We call it J’ai Soif (‘I’m thirsty’ in French) because it’s the best companion on a bedside table at night,” Pioch Balzac says.
