Dock­ers de­light for pur­ple pupils

STU­DENTS at Ellen Stir­ling Pri­mary School re­ceived a spe­cial visit from some Fre­man­tle Dock­ers play­ers last week.

Darcy Tucker, Tan­ner Smith, Har­ley Balic, Matthew Ue­ber­gang and Ryan Ny­huis held a work­shop at the Ellenbrook school as a re­ward for rais­ing the most money ear­lier this year for The Starlight Chil­dren’s Foun­da­tion, which helps brighten the lives of se­ri­ously ill kids.

The school held a “Pur­ple Haze Day”, dress­ing up in the colour for a gold coin do­na­tion.

For the fourth year in a row, Ellen Stir­ling raised the most money, with a record to­tal of $2430 this year.

Prin­ci­pal Dr Dean Gold­spink the fundrais­ing event was again a great suc­cess.

Dock­ers play­ers held a work­shop at Ellen Stir­ling Pri­mary School af­ter the pupils raised money to brighten the lives of sick chil­dren.
